Larson Danielson Construction hired Grove Excavating to assist in the construction of a new parking lot entry and gateway for the Century Center in South Bend Indiana. Our scope of work included pavement demolition, curb removal, attendant booth removal, site grading, adjusting a large manhole casting to grade and placing new compacted aggregate subbase.

Grove Excavating successfully completed the site work for the Pulaski Park Renovation project in South Bend, IN. The project presented several challenges do to encountering abandoned utilities and infrastructure. Through careful planning and coordination with the project team, we overcame these challenges to complete the surface demolition, erosion control, site clearing, site cut and fill, water service, sanitary sewer service, storm sewer, parking lot grading, limestone running path, finish grading and respreading topsoil.
Grove Excavating was hired to provide commercial site work services for the renovation of an existing building in Elkhart, IN. Our scope of work included exterior pavement demolition, selective exterior wall demolition, interior CMU wall demolition, interior concrete floor removal, grease trap installation and site grading. The interior demolition portion of this project was critical to completing this work safely. Our crews safely removed the interior concrete floor and CMU walls without damaging the structural integrity of the building.

Our scope of work required us to clear trees, strip the site, enlarge a retention pond, fill/compact the building pad, excavate for the foundation, install downspout drains and restore the site with topsoil when completed.

We were required to remove a large portion of the parking lot, excavate/backfill for building footers, install a new sanitary sewer lateral, install new storm sewer, connect gutter downspouts to the new storm sewer, site grading and placing compacted aggregate subbase. Our scope was completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
R. Yoder Construction hired Grove Excavating to perform the earthwork for the Concord Schools Summer Renovations and Sidewalks Project in Elkhart, Indiana. Our scope of work included pavement demolition, earthwork, grading and restoring the site with topsoil once the sidewalk was placed.
Grove Excavating was hired to assist in renovations to the exterior entrance and landscaping at Prarie Vista Elementary School in Granger, Indiana. Our scope of work required us to remove the brick and mortar pavers at the entrance of the school, concrete sidewalk removal, tree removal, stripping the existing lawn, placing topsoil and grading for sod.
